Supervised Visitation Monitor
Location: Hall County & Gwinnett County, GA
Position Type: Part-Time / Contract 1099
(Afternoon, Early Evening & Weekend Availability Required)
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable BSW or MSW-level professional to provide supervised visitation services for families navigating high-conflict custody situations and court-ordered parenting plans.
This role requires strong, clear professional boundaries, objective documentation skills, and the ability to remain neutral in emotionally charged environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in child welfare and a strong understanding of family systems, trauma-informed care, and child safety protocols.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s (BSW) or Master’s (MSW) degree in Social Work
Minimum 3+ years of child welfare experience
Experience working with high-conflict families
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within Hall and Gwinnett Counties
Strong written documentation skills suitable for court review
Preferred:
Previous supervised visitation monitoring experience
Familiarity with Georgia DFCS and family court systems
Trauma-informed practice experience
Core Responsibilities
Monitor and facilitate court-ordered supervised visitation sessions
Ensure child safety and adherence to court-ordered guidelines
Maintain neutrality and professional boundaries at all times
Observe and document parent-child interactions in an objective, behavior-based format
Provide clear, timely written reports suitable for attorneys and court proceedings
Communicate professionally with parents, guardians, attorneys, and court representatives
Conduct visits in both in-home and community-based settings
Follow established safety protocols and visitation procedures
Schedule Requirements
Availability during afternoons, early evenings, and weekends
Flexible scheduling based on family court orders and client needs
